About Century Sainik MR 8mm
CenturyPly's best-value moisture-resistant plywood and the most-sold budget grade in Ahmedabad. It is water resistant — bend-resistant, weather-resistant, dimensionally stable and swell-proof — but not a waterproof (BWP) grade.
In 8mm, this is a thin sheet used for backing, lining and light infill work rather than structural panels. It is the most economical thickness in the range — ideal where weight, cost and flexibility matter more than load-bearing strength.
Century Sainik MR is moisture-resistant (MR) plywood made with urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin — built for dry interior areas, not for kitchens or bathrooms. An 8×4 ft sheet in 8mm weighs approximately 13–15 kg, so factor in transport — we arrange delivery across Ahmedabad from our Lati Bazar shop.
