Which Grade to Use, by Location

BWP (Marine) Grade
Steam rising from a kitchen or bathroom below reaches the ceiling directly. BWP grade resists this moisture without the sagging or staining that lower grades develop over a couple of years.
Exterior-Grade or BWP Plywood
A false ceiling on a covered balcony or semi-outdoor sit-out sees more humidity swings than an indoor room. Treat it the same as a wet area and use BWP grade for the panel.

Framework Battens Carry the Load
