Sheets pass through a wide-belt calibration sander that removes high spots and brings the entire face to a single, consistent thickness.

No Lippage Under Laminate

Uneven thickness under a laminate sheet creates visible ridges or "lippage" at joints — calibration removes that risk before the laminate ever goes on.

Even Press Pressure

A perfectly flat, uniform sheet presses evenly under a laminate or veneer roller, avoiding weak-bond spots where pressure was uneven.

Do You Need Calibrated Plywood?

If a panel is going to be laminated, veneered, or butted edge-to-edge against other panels in a modular unit, calibration is worth the small extra cost.
