Which Tier Should You Choose?
Basic suits rented homes, a second kitchen or a short-term fix. HMR particle board is fine in dry areas, but it holds screws less well, so keep the sink base in BWP plywood and avoid heavy tall units. Value is what we recommend to most Ahmedabad families. It costs about ₹11,091 more than basic for a 10 ft kitchen, and the plywood carcass will outlast several laminate changes. Premium adds BWP everywhere and top-brand laminate for a kitchen that will see heavy daily use for many years.
Where Not to Cut Corners
Sink and hob base units must be BWP. Carcass thickness should be 16–18 mm; see plywood thickness for kitchen cabinets. Drawer bottoms should be 9 mm. Every exposed edge needs edge banding. Hinges and channels on the most-used units should be decent quality, even if the rest are basic.
Finishes That Look Expensive
