Board grade
BWP vs MR

Brand and finish
Premium brands and gloss, anti-fingerprint or foil finishes can add 40% or more to the laminate bill.

Tandem drawers and pull-out baskets cost far more than simple shelves. Plan them early.

How to Save Without Regret
Save on: MR grade for wall units away from the sink, budget laminate on the inside and on low-traffic uppers, open shelves at one end of the run, and simple shelves in place of pull-outs you will rarely use.
