Every month our plywood, laminates and doors go into kitchens, wardrobes, offices and shops across Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. The questions are almost always the same: which grade, how many sheets, and what will it cost? So this page shows the material lists behind the jobs we supply most often, priced at our current published rates. Use them to check a carpenter's list or a contractor's quote before you commit.
The figures below are worked examples for typical sizes, not a specific client's bill. Board and laminate only; hardware, edge banding, countertops, labour and 18% GST are extra. Rates are from our plywood price list, laminate price list and flush door price list, and they change with brand price lists, so WhatsApp us for today's figure.
L-Shaped Modular Kitchen, 10 × 8 ft
The most common job we price. Marine BWP where water reaches, MR where it doesn't.

Why this spec: the sink and hob base units are where kitchens fail, so they get 18 mm marine BWP. Wall units stay dry, so MR grade saves about ₹5,760 on this kitchen (5 sheets × 32 sq ft × ₹36) without any real risk. Thinner 12 mm and 9 mm BWP handles shelves and drawer bottoms. Why this spec: bedrooms in most Ahmedabad flats are dry enough for 18 mm MR. Switch to BWP only if the wardrobe sits on an outer wall that gets damp in the monsoon or in a ground-floor room. Add a 2 ft loft and the list grows to about 3 outer and 9 inner laminate sheets. Why this spec: bedroom doors stay dry, so a 30 mm MR solid-core door is enough. Bathroom doors get wet at the bottom edge every day, so they need a BWP door with a gurjan face. The main door is the one people judge a home by, so it gets the heaviest 35 mm door. Frames, laminate or veneer facing and hardware are extra. How much does the material for an L-shaped kitchen cost?
For a 10 × 8 ft L-shaped kitchen, board and budget laminate come to about ₹72,253 at our current rates: BWP base units, MR wall units, 12 mm and 9 mm BWP for shelves and backs. Hardware, labour and 18% GST are extra.
How much plywood and laminate does a 6 × 7 ft wardrobe need?
About 6 sheets of 18 mm MR plywood, 2 sheets of 6 mm for the back, 2 sheets of 1 mm outer laminate and 7 inner sheets. That is about ₹22,455 in board and budget laminate before GST.
What do flush doors for a 2BHK cost?
Three 7 × 3 ft MR bedroom doors, two 7 × 2.5 ft BWP bathroom doors and one 35 mm main door shutter come to about ₹15,162 at our flush door rates, excluding frames, facing and hardware.
