Inner Laminate, Edge Band and Board Supply to Vatva GIDC — Delivered to Your Unit
We supply furniture manufacturing units across Vatva GIDC on a repeat basis, mainly Durian inner laminate and edge banding tape in 50 to 100 sheet lots. Orders placed by 2 PM are delivered to the unit the same day. We have been trading from Lati Bazar for 46 years and hold stock accordingly.
Delivery into the estate
Delivery details
We deliver into the estate itself, to the unit, not to a drop point. Orders confirmed before 2 PM go out the same day. For a standing monthly requirement we can work to a fixed weekly day instead, which most units find easier to plan production around than ordering item by item.
Gate access and unloading vary by phase. If your unit needs a gate pass or has a fixed unloading window, tell us once and we will hold it against your account rather than asking every time.
Where we deliver around Vatva
Regular deliveries run into Vatva GIDC Phase 1 through Phase 4 and the older Vatva Industrial Estate sheds. Outside the estate we serve the units and godowns around Narol Circle, along Piplaj Road, towards Lambha, and across the Ramol crossing.
The route from Lati Bazar runs down through Narol, so a Vatva delivery and a Narol delivery are effectively on the same trip. If you have a second unit on that stretch, we can drop both on one run.
What actually moves here
Vatva is not a sheet-plywood market. What we send into these units, week after week, is Durian inner laminate and edge banding tape — the consumables that a production line burns through, not the one-off purchase a homeowner makes.
Inner laminate goes on the surfaces the customer does not see: carcass interiors, shelf undersides, the backs of shutters. It is bought on consistency and price per sheet, not on shade selection, and it is bought in quantity. Edge band tape is the same — you need the same colour to keep arriving in the same shade for as long as a model stays in production.
Alongside those we supply MDF and HMR particle board for carcass work, and commercial and MR plywood where a unit is building to a specification that calls for it. Board thickness and brand stay whatever you have standardised on; we do not push substitutions on a production buyer.
Order size and repeat supply
A typical order into this belt is 50 to 100 sheets. That is routine for us and it is worth saying plainly, because it tells you we are not going to be short on the second order or quote you a retail rate on the third.
- Rate against volume. Quote the sheet count and we price to it. A 20-sheet enquiry and a 200-sheet enquiry are not the same conversation.
- Repeat order handling. Once your specification is on file, reordering is one message. No re-confirming brand, thickness and finish every month.
- Batch consistency. Tell us if a run has to match an earlier batch and we will check what we are loading against it before it leaves.
- Payment. Cash or advance. We do not run credit accounts, which is the one thing worth establishing before you place a first order rather than after.
Edge banding — relevant to you directly
We run an edge banding machine in-house. For a unit that already bands its own panels this is only useful as a fallback when your machine is down or a rush job overflows your line. For a smaller unit without one, it means you can buy board and get it back banded rather than sub-contracting that step to a third party and chasing it.
CNC cutting is also available from ₹800 per sheet depending on the design, with a two to three day turnaround. For production work that is usually too slow to be part of your process — it suits sample runs and one-off pieces rather than a line.
