Laminating a Folding Table Top

Balance every panel
A folding leaf is often seen from both sides and hangs vertically when folded. Laminate both faces so it stays flat and does not bow.
Thickness
1 mm on the top, inner below
1 mm decorative on the working face and 0.8 mm inner laminate underneath keeps weight down. For light wall-mounted leaves, 0.8 mm decorative such as Durian Italia works on both faces.
Finish
Matte or texture

Band before fitting hinges
