About Sudan Teak
Sudan teak is African teak grown in Sudan — hard, durable and dependable, sitting a notch above Ghana teak in the market. It has the density and termite resistance you want in a genuine teak, which makes it a reliable choice for door frames and structural joinery.
It is the practical middle ground: when Burma teak is beyond budget but the work still needs real teak rather than a substitute, Sudan teak does the job. Compare it with Ivory Coast (CP) teak if you want to trim the rate a little further.
